<p dir="auto" style="color: #28272d; margin: 0 0 16px;" align="initial">I fully agree that upstreaming is allways the better solution and should be the only one for projects like gcc, newlib and so on. But we already have projects where we modify the code permanently and will never upstream all changes like in LibBSD.</p>
<p dir="auto" style="color: #28272d; margin: 0;" align="initial">But maybe it's better to discuss that if the situation arises and not now. It won't be a problem to add tags later in case it is necessary to distinguish between read-only mirror and forks and this thread is clearly about mirrors.</p>
