<div class="md" style="position: relative; z-index: 1; color: #3a383f; word-wrap: break-word;">
<p dir="auto" style="color: #3a383f; margin: 0 0 1rem;" align="initial">I agree that the reason most likely is that no one has done that autmation yet. I did add the <code style='font-size: 90%; color: #18171d; word-wrap: break-word; border-radius: .25rem; background-color: #ececef; margin-top: 0; font-weight: inherit; white-space: break-spaces; word-break: break-all; font-family: "GitLab Mono", "JetBrains Mono", "Menlo", "DejaVu Sans Mono", "Liberation Mono", "Consolas", "Ubuntu Mono", "Courier New", "andale mono", "lucida console", monospace; font-variant-ligatures: none; overflow-wrap: break-word; padding: 0.125rem 0.25rem;'>imxrt*</code> stuff so I'm guilty of that too. Back then what stopped me was the problem that it has to work on all systems that we want to build RTEMS on.</p>
<p dir="auto" style="color: #3a383f; margin: 0 0 1rem;" align="initial">For the FDT parts, it would be definitively be worth the effort to add that automation. I would expect that there will be more BSPs using that in the future. If I'm right, this would cover all but the <code style='font-size: 90%; color: #18171d; word-wrap: break-word; border-radius: .25rem; background-color: #ececef; margin-top: 0; font-weight: inherit; white-space: break-spaces; word-break: break-all; font-family: "GitLab Mono", "JetBrains Mono", "Menlo", "DejaVu Sans Mono", "Liberation Mono", "Consolas", "Ubuntu Mono", "Courier New", "andale mono", "lucida console", monospace; font-variant-ligatures: none; overflow-wrap: break-word; padding: 0.125rem 0.25rem;'>fsdosfsname01</code> files.</p>
<p dir="auto" style="color: #3a383f; margin: 0;" align="initial">For the image in fsdosfsname01, it most likely would be a huge effort to make sure that the generation of the files work on all systems (Mac, various Linux, FreeBSD, Windows) and generate the same content on each run. At the same time, it is a special case that most likely won't be re-used anywhere. So from my point of view, it wouldn't be worth the effort for that case. The files are generated using a script in the <code style='font-size: 90%; color: #18171d; word-wrap: break-word; border-radius: .25rem; background-color: #ececef; margin-top: 0; font-weight: inherit; white-space: break-spaces; word-break: break-all; font-family: "GitLab Mono", "JetBrains Mono", "Menlo", "DejaVu Sans Mono", "Liberation Mono", "Consolas", "Ubuntu Mono", "Courier New", "andale mono", "lucida console", monospace; font-variant-ligatures: none; overflow-wrap: break-word; padding: 0.125rem 0.25rem;'>fsdosfsname01</code>. I think it would be correct to add the copyright from the script to the generated files. It's more or less exactly what BSD2-license tells: "2. Redistributions in binary form must reproduce ...".</p>
