But that would not let us know that the target CPU needs strict alignment.</p>
<p dir="auto" style="color: #3a383f; margin: 0;" align="initial">But we do not have to maintain binary compatibility with anything since everything is built from source. gcc/config/riscv/t-rtems could be adjusted to make sure all the language libraries are built with strict alignment. But it wouldn't ensure that RTEMS itself or applications are also.</p>
