<p dir="auto" style="color: #3a383f; margin: 0 0 1rem;" align="initial">Yes, you are because CI will need to do formatting as well, I'm talking about the "local developer experience" which is 100% tied to CI because CI uses the exact same tools as local developer will use. They aren't separate they're the same thing so regardless if you think it's different that's not how it was designed from the start.</p>
<p dir="auto" style="color: #3a383f; margin: 0;" align="initial">The reason why CI uses those same tools is to ensure nothing ever diverges we don't want CI to do anything different than a developer can do locally. I spent a lot of time on this specifically to avoid committed configs this was a restriction put on me and frankly, I really like how it turned out.</p>
