I've gone through Michal's thesis and the publication mentioned in the issue. They both were very helpful in understanding the stack's FIFO queue architecture and the priority inversion problem.</p>
<p dir="auto" style="color: #3a383f; margin: 0 0 1rem;" align="initial">I have started drafting a proposal and had a question about the hardware setup. The issue mentions that hardware access is required for most device driver porting, while QEMU may cover testing and examples. The thesis also confirms i386/QEMU works for stack-level testing with the virtual CAN controller, and the Xilinx Zynq Micro Zed APO was used for the CTU CAN FD demonstrations. I was wondering if a hardware setup is expected for physical testing in this project.</p>
