I don't know the full definition of code coverage.  I suppose code that can never be exercised on a given platform is "dead code"?  Even if the code as a ".o" is tested on other targets?

We can now start discussing which code is basically better written or more well-tested.  In most cases the general code written by someone familiar with multiple architectures will be better written.  IMHO.
