Ideally you would provide patches against head* with the staged or1k patches applied for gcc and for binutils (<a href="http://openrisc.net/debian/patches/">http://openrisc.net/debian/patches/</a>).</div><div class="gmail_extra">
For newlib you have to be a bit more creative since we don't have any staged patches, but the same criteria applies.</div><div class="gmail_extra"><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">* Upstream will never accept patches not based on head.</div>
