<p>I am sorry but can you give me some suggestion about that, you mean the old i2c works on all platforms, and shouldn't be replace, so <span>where you suggest the new one should go and how to mark the old one deprecated?</span></p>

I think the i2c was developed and tested only on the BeagleBone Black.<br>
I don't think anyone has used the xm yet, though I could be mistaken.<br>
