Checking the dependencies on the rpm on the ftp site, <br>
the Fedora 14 one is not dependent on Python.<br>
<br>
You can try "system sparc-rtems4.11-gdb" and see if you<br>
notice what system call is failing.<br>
<br>
On Ubuntu you may be better off building this.<br>

Oh! You converted the RPM to deb or extracted the contents. <br>
That changes things. :)<br>

Try "ldd /opt/rtems-4.11/bin/sparc-rtems4.11-gdb" and see if all<br>
the shared library dependencies are met. That's a starting
point.<br>

and how you invoked sparc-rtems4.11-gdb.<br>

Ralf builds these so if there is some odd dependency not
