With RTEMS having begun to use SIZE_MAX, this bug now has visible impacts.

AFAICT, affected are all 16-bit targets with an rtems-gcc-toolchains <
gcc-4.5.0.

In particular:
avr-rtems4.10, h8300-rtems4.10, m32c-rtems4.10.

The bug shows as warnings when compiling rtems-4.11/testsuites with one of the
rtems-4.10 toolchains listed above. Likely (unverified), it also shows when
compiling rtems-4.10/testsuites with them.

Unfortunately, there is no fix in sight from me. 

Instead, as these targets are the least important ones for rtems-4.10, I am
leaning towards upgrading these target's rtems-toolchains to gcc-4.5.x.
