I realize, this answer may have had a shocking impact on you.

In practice, this means, we will have to analyze if your works actually is
derivative works of glibc2, if it only is "inspired by glibc2's design", 
whether your works contain "copyright-able" parts of glibc2 and the actual
situation of copyrights/licenses of the aio parts in glibc2 (Some parts of
glibc2 are licensed under other "GPL compatible" licenses).
