BSD is not an actual problem. It's just one part of the "history" of RTEMS's
nfsclient and thus is part of the background why nfsclient is a separate
library.

"rpcgen" however is a technical problem. It comes with limitations (limitations
of the "rpcgen" tool) which has implications on the source-tree structure and
are an obstacle which prevent to moving rpcgen-related files to arbitrary
source-/build-tree locations (Not that they could be overcome, but it's
non-trivial).
