No, it isn't. It is the 4.6.1 tarball release + hand-selected (mostly RTEMS
specific) patches. It is pretty far away from gcc-4_6-branch and not tracking
it. But why are you asking? Did you expect a version string mentioning
"release" or similar?
However, the version your gcc reports somewhat irritates me. Mine reports:
powerpc-rtems4.11-gcc (GCC) 4.6.1 20110627 (RTEMS
gcc-4.6.1-5.fc14/newlib-1.19.0-15.fc14) -- Homegrown toolchain, I suppose?
Anyway, I've just cherry-picked the patch you requested from gcc-trunk and
merged it into the latest gcc-core-4.6.1-*diff in contrib/patches. Please
cross-check.
powerpc-RPMs are spinning and will likely land in the repos within the next
couple of hours (Unfortunately, OAR's most powerful build machine currently is
inaccessible, which forces me to resort to building on slower machines ... Not
necessarily nice, esp. when building powerpc-gccs :(.
