Nice change.  Since you already had the message queue, for this little bit of
work in the ISR, you save a lot of overhead.

Looks good to me.

Out of curiousity, how are these features in the BSP and their application
configuration requirements documented?  This is not a criticism but an open
issue for RTEMS in general.  In my head, it makes sense for each BSP to provide
a document fragment in a defined format and style that can be picked up by a
master document.
