Well, AFAIS, this patch is not in gcc-4_6-branch, but on somebody's
semi-official "ARM/embedded-4_6-branch" development branch and on gcc-trunk.

As I do not want to start mixing branches with unclear outcome and to
potentially get lost in followups, I prefer not to apply this patch.

Instead, I'd recommend you "to talk upstream GCC into"/"persuade upstream GCC
to" adding this patch to gcc-4_6-branch.
