The cpukit dictates features.  This is a minor BSP modification to support
another board variant.

The list of supported hardware has always been flexible on release branches. 
There is precedence as far back as 4.6 when we added leon BSPs after the branch
was cut. The changes have to have minimal impact on other BSPs and the changes
have to go on the head at the same time.
