For new BSPs please use the development version of RTEMS (master branch):

http://git.rtems.org/rtems/

Please don't mix unrelated changes into one patch, e.g. the changes in
bootcard.c have nothing to do with the PPC 440.

In files under the cpukit directory only C pre-processor defines which
correspond to a multi-lib are allowed.  You can query the multi-lib defines of
the tool chain via:

powerpc-rtems4.11-gcc -print-multi-lib

You can also send patches directly to <rtems-devel at rtems.org>, preferably
generated via "git format-patch".
