Various fixes to the virtex5 BSP

This patch file is based on Joel's virtex git repository.  The specialized
clock has been removed in favor of the 403 one.  There are also some fixes and
clean up so that all the testsuite samples now produce output in the configured
Message Area (top 1 MB of memory).
