I went with updating Autoconf to version 2.68 first since that was in the log
as well. Being a Red Hat Enterprise Linux clone like CentOS, Autoconf from the
official repos were old (2.63) so I compiled 2.68 from source.

Before trying to update m4 (currently 1.4.13), I tried building the tool set
again. It succeeded this time.
