 Aim of this ticket is to track the progress of the effort to integrate the
 EtherCAT //Simple Open Source EtherCAT Master// (SOEM) with RTEMS.

 Issues to be tackled:
 * Generate the required config files to build the upstream source
 * Create the required patches in SOEM to support the RTEMS libraries
