 The [https://epics.anl.gov/base/RTEMS.php EPICS-RTEMS overview page] gives
 some pointers on how to get [https://epics-controls.org EPICS] to work
 with [https://www.rtems.org RTEMS] as the underlying operating system.
 Much of the existing instructions are based on a tutorial (https://epics-
 controls.org/resources-and-support/documents/howto-
 documents/rtems/tutorial/) written several years ago for older versions of
 EPICS and RTEMS.

 The aim of this project is to create tutorials in the style of an
 [https://docs.rtems.org RTEMS Manual] that reproduce and improve the
 existing tutorial for more recent versions of RTEMS and EPICS. The new
 tutorials should rely on the
 [https://docs.rtems.org/branches/master/user/rsb/index.html RTEMS Source
 Builder] to simplify the RTEMS build process. The outcomes of this project
 will be an updated version of the extant manual and an updated version
 with RTEMS 4.10. As extensions, tutorials targeting newer versions of
 RTEMS (e.g., 4.11, 5.0) with EPICS could be considered, but the workflow
 for those versions of EPICS/RTEMS are currently not stable.
