 I updated to FreeBSD 12.1 yesterday, but it still fails the same way.

 Yes, I have libiconv installed, same version shown above.

 However, I didn't have subversion or makeinfo installed.  Just installed
 subversion, so I'll try again and report back.  What's up with makeinfo?

 # pkg install makeinfo
