 A `tmux` bug which is fixed but not released swaps the columns and rows
 fields:

   https://github.com/tmux/tmux/issues/3457

 Given it will be a while before this enters downstream packages provide a
 work around.

 also improve response time to the query. At the moment a 50 msec delay is
 imposed and it does not have to be there.
