 Stick with Sphinx 5.  Moving to 7 is a headache there will be dozens of
 little issues we'll be chasing for months.  Moving to 7 means dropping
 support for all previous versions.  Conditional support is also a PITA.
 The biggest reason: we get nothing other than the documentation looking
 the same after a lot of work.

 Anyone using PyPi can easily install 5 or 6 if they really want.

 In some years we can revisit moving to 7 when Sphinx 9 is out.
