Ah, there's still some confusion here. There is a generic A53 BSP for AArch64 (the second thing you linked) that is intended to be used with QEMU, then there is the new ZynqMP A53 BSP (the last thing you linked) which is a clone of the ZU3EG BSP but is intended to be ZynqMP variant agnostic.

The generic A53 QEMU BSP uses GICv3 and the pl011 driver which is standard for generic targets.
