Oh, sorry I meant to set it to %6.1 but the point was to force discussion not a change. Let's not forget the most important binary we use is already on python3: `waf` so I would suspect this change isn't as big as it first seems and nearly all of them get exercised when cutting a release would like to get @chris input on this as well.
