Okay I know what's going on with this and there is no solution for it other than singlehtml needs to be build first by itself.

What's going on is the theme just creates an empty sidebar on the right so it needs to be disabled.  This is added with --singlehtml and it's put on the commandline .. the rest of the docs need the sidebar so it's complaining that it's been removed.

The solution is build --singlehtml first and then build without after.  This may require some massive changes to get working but I'll  keep thinking about it for now we have a solution,.
