For the non inkscape versions: Would it make sense to convert the text to a path? Otherwise, the logo will only be displayed correctly if the font `Helvetica Black, Heavy` is installed. The German [ubuntuusers wiki](https://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Schriftarten/unfreie_Schriftarten/) lists the Helvetica family as non-free font and therefore Ubuntu seems to not provide that font by default.
