There's quite a bit more in the one commit attached to this MR than the description would suggest. There's at least 1 warning fix, there is some renaming/refactoring of intermediate steps, addition of a `.gitignore`, addition of builds that were missing entirely (this is the only thing addressed in the commit description), and renaming of resultant executables where they already matched in the waf build and Makefile build.
