You are right, it was older documentation.

However I now found the reason why I can't reproduce them, it was already fixed in 089a16b :sweat_smile: I haven't checked the diffs after rebasing to todays upstream so I missed it, silly me. So these `-Wtype-limits` should be already fixed and we don't need to worry about them, my presumption of required cast is also invalid then. Or are these warnings still occurring with newer gcc? I tested against 14.2.0.
