The recent toolchain bump to GCC 14.2 (!122) introduced some problems especially in the libbsd build. The standing tradition of confirming a build on rtems.git only does not seem to be sufficient. We need to improve our policies around how we bump major versions of tools, and we may need to improve our ability to stage major changes within the RSB so they can be rolled out more incrementally.
