# RTEMS 7.1 Release

* Licensing changes.
* Uses GCC 15 so we have a release branch with AARCH64 IP32 support. GCC is planning to remove IP32 support in GCC 16.
* LibIO changes (these may end up on RTEMS 6 branch but that is to be decided).
