Yes, you get the local repo in the state that you'd like and then you can update the target branch `bugfix/raspberrypi-pl011-init` with that branch: `git push origin -f bugfix/raspberrypi-pl011-init`

or any arbitrary content: `git push origin -f GIT_HASH:bugfix/raspberrypi-pl011-init`
