CFLAGS_FOR_TARGET=-Wno-error=deprecated
export CFLAGS_FOR_TARGET

this would be added via the host_build_flags variable as defined in source-builder/defaults.mc.

Surely there is a better way to add this that doesn't involve modifying defaults.mc directly, but I haven't investigated further.
