what I know is that we use git commit --amend and then push force but the problem here being that I merged from the main branch and since it's protected I can't push force to it.

Please tell me if there is a solution for this.

Another (unrelated) problem is that I don't really know how to add a file from modules/rtems to a commit from central since rtems is only a submodule inside central and I have never worked with git submodules before.
