I think when linker looks for a libary of named librtemsbsp, it first find librtemsbsp.so then librtemsbsp.a， maybe it's the normal process.
I just reproduce in my local project, bsps is mips/ls1b，which does not support in rtems main branch, so for now, i can provide a simple test case which can reproduce it.
