Thanks and yes it is valid to check the docs. I entered in a search `gcc warning options` and first link is https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/Warning-Options.html and that is what I reported in the issue. GCC does not support versioned docs and I have not run the `info` command in a shell for 20 years and we do not build their docs.
