@gedare We removed both native tools (now in rtems-tools) and documentation (now in rtems-docs) from the main rtems source base. One of the benefits was to have a simpler build system in each tree. Native compilation, doc production, and pure cross compiles. 

When you build an application/library with rtems_waf support, you often have to specify multiple arguments for the various locations of installed tools, BSP, etc. 

We have precedence for single focused repositories and invested a lot of energy to get here. Add path arguments to point to other source modules as appropriate.
