Exactly. There is no existing use case so why do we need this change? 

You are asking us to take it on good faith we accept this any other fragments **_you_** decide we can have. It is like getting given a [perspective 3D sculpture ](https://www.aesdes.org/2025/03/16/design-preview-report-dual-perspective-3d-sculpture/)once piece at a time. The problem doing this creates is by time we can even see what is happening we are a lot of commits in. This is really important and I see this single MR as a part of that process so that is why I am calling it out.
