For the record, I disagree with the project decision to reject a Developer Certificate of Origin and an explicit contributor statement which testifies confirmation. The proposed procedure is adopted by large open source projects and is in the daily workflow of thousands of open source contributors.

I also would like to point out that my offer to do all the documentation and CI work to implement it remains.
