Oh! ya I found it in [newlib-cygwin/newlib/libc/stdio/rename.c](https://cygwin.com/git/?p=newlib-cygwin.git;a=blob;f=newlib/libc/stdio/rename.c;h=9abc0d39b34744d321da0c1767059eccffbe0a7b;hb=HEAD).

And about the verification part, is my deduction correct about checking it in `_rename_r` function?
