I would argue that there are no 3rd party applications that run on RTEMS in standard configurations. The application that runs is the only application that runs and is by definition first-party regardless of other libraries you might be using.

The only possibility of 3rd party applications on RTEMS is via the loadable module support which has an application-defined API beyond loading basic symbols.
