Your concern regarding the vagueness for this law makes sense.

But in practice, RTEMS isnt a general purpose OS and doesnt provide an app store or third party app environment. If someone wants to build consumer platform on top of RTEMS with those features, they're essentially defining the higher level system features themselves.

So mostly the compliance responsibility should fall on product vendor or integrator instead of RTEMS project.

Maybe best course of action is to document our position untill the law becomes clearer
