Hello @joel  and @gedare ,

If this project is still available for GSoC, I would like to share an idea for the tool:

### **Proposed Tool:** `CoverSync`

**Type:** CLI (background process) + Bash or Makefile with cron integration

### **Concept:**

The tool will fetch data from Coverity (input) and process it to produce outputs or perform specific functions.

### **Usage Example:**

Open the terminal and run:

coversync -active -perday 7

This command would run the Python tool 7 times per day automatically.

### **Future Enhancements:**

* Logging to a file
* JSON configuration file for settings
* Simple CI/CD pipeline for testing and deployment
* Additional options and automation features

This is the basic core idea, and we can expand it further over time. I would greatly appreciate your feedback and suggestions on this approach.

Thank you!
