Updates pushed.

* Implemented comprehensive cleanup logic using 'goto error_cleanup'.
* Added logic to 'unlink' previously created device nodes in case of a partial failure, ensuring no zombie devices remain in the filesystem.
* Fixed indentation and variable alignment.
