@wmthornton-dev  You make a fair point about churn. To be clear: I selected this task specifically to familiarize myself with the **T Framework** API for my GSoC preparation, as my previous patches focused on the RSB and Kernel.If the consensus is that these legacy tests should remain untouched, I am happy to close this and focus on my other open tasks.

**@joel** I have pushed a fix for the license whitespace and opened issue #5436 to track this. Please let me know if you'd prefer I proceed or close the MR.
