 > +RTEMS 6 (SMP) runs on the Innoflight CFC400X docking processor aboard NASA's Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle (MPCV). The CFC400X is a modern MPSoC platform with a 1 GHz ARM53 quad-core processor (aarch64), 16 GB nonvolatile memory, and UltraScale FPGA. The docking flight software uses NASA's cFS Draco with cFE Caelum (v7), the first cFE version to support 64-bit architectures, running on RTEMS. OAR Corporation developed the RTEMS CFC400X BSP and ported the GNU lightweight IP (lwIP) network stack under contract with the Orion program.

 > +The docking processor was added to Orion for the Artemis II mission to support manual and automated docking with the Lunar Gateway on future Artemis missions. The Artemis II mission demonstrates rendezvous and proximity operations (RPO). The processor handles:
 > +
 > +- **Docking Camera Processing:** Real-time analysis of proximity sensor data.
 > +- **LiDAR Processing:** High-fidelity depth mapping for autonomous docking.
 > +- **H.264 Video Streaming:** HD video compression for ground-link and situational awareness.

 > +# Technical Specifications
 > +
 > +- **OS:** RTEMS 6 (AArch64 SMP)
 > +- **Framework:** NASA core Flight System (cFS) Draco
 > +- **Processor:** Innoflight CFC400X (Zynq UltraScale+ @ 1 GHz)
 > +- **Architecture:** Quad-core ARM Cortex-A53
 > +- **Network Stack:** lwIP (ported by OAR Corp)

It would be nice and fair to mention that idea to use LwIP with RTEMS and initial port comes from Google Summer of Code (RTEMS port to Cortex - R4F) and Diploma Thesis (Porting of RTEMS OS to the TMS570 family, including LwIP) by [Premysl Houdek](https://cz.linkedin.com/in/premysl-houdek-strakonice/en) at the Czech Technical University in Prague. We have spent lot of time on that even that it has not been fully finished but this and mine further work on LwIP is base of integration in https://gitlab.rtems.org/rtems/pkg/rtems-lwip and the code development continues in frame of last and current GSoCs.
