Thank you for updating the README.md. I think some of the changes in the README could be helpful in the MR description, or an issue that helps to explain what is going on here and how it fits in the overall plan related to #15. We'll certainly need extensive revision to the docs as well, some issues can be created to track that. 

It might be a good idea to create an Epic to help manage this transition.
