Hi,
I checked this now on real hardware. The first problem was this for RTEMS 4.11:

The BSP must ensure that it is possible to restore a floating-point context in
the initialization code. This is required by the _Thread_Start_multitasking().
This test for initialization threads is superfluous and will be removed.
Instead the FPU will be enabled unconditionally.
