This is a true and valid point, but the problem is when domains
collide. Adding generated files to the repository affects every other
developer and user. This much change should have been done through a
branch, with plenty of documentation and testing, and enough
discussion of all the involved participants beforehand so that at
least more than one person is satisfied with the need, benefit, and
appropriateness of the solution.
